Mexican Ruling Party Accuses Opposition of Orchestrating Violence

The ruling party claims that the protest was funded and orchestrated by various leaders of the PAN and PRI, and promises to reveal the networks. This Wednesday, the ruling party renewed its accusations against the national and local leadership of the PRI, denouncing them for having "operated and hired shock groups and thugs" to confront the police on November 15. At a press conference, the spokesperson for the parliamentary group, Paulo García, and the coordinator, Xóchitl Bravo, denounced that the PRI would have hired various shock groups identified as the Organization of Technical Students (ODET), the PRI's Revolutionary Youth Front, and "The 300," among others. "Let everyone know how it was, who these people are, and that their intention to create instability is not out of concern for the people, but out of economic and political motives," stated Paulo García. Rojo de la Vega and Morena clashed again in Donceles, and polarization is growing. In this way, the 4T insists on its intention to reveal the political and economic background of the Z mobilization, which generated shocking images of violence at the capital's Zócalo and, in addition, heightened tensions within both national and local government. "This entire mafia is trying to create instability in this city and this country," denounced the deputy from Tlalpan. Tabe did not appear before Congress, and Morena will denounce him before the Controller's Office. According to their explanation, the national leader of the PRI, Alito Moreno, and the local president, Israel Betanzos, would have hired shock groups from various cities and educational centers with the intention of generating scenes of violence during the Generation Z mobilization. In turn, the opposition denounces persecution against them. Because of this, Morena announced that in the coming days it will present a new point of agreement to investigate these people and their role with these sectors. In this way, during the upcoming sessions at the Palace of Donceles, the tension that already existed when the 4T first urged the prosecutor, Bertha Alcalde, to investigate the alleged financing of said mobilization by the mayor of Miguel Hidalgo, Mauricio Tabe, and his counterpart in Cuauhtémoc, Alessandra Rojo de la Vega, could revive. The scenes of violence experienced during the first Generation Z mobilization at the capital's Zócalo are still generating disputes between the ruling party and the opposition. Federal Deputy Carlos Eduardo Gutiérrez Mancilla would also have participated in this network.
